Frequently asked questions

What file formats are supported?

Polyglot supports XLIFF 1.2 and XLIFF 2.0 files (.xlf, .xliff). These are the standard formats used by Angular, iOS, and many other frameworks.

How does the AI translation work?

We use OpenAI GPT-4o to generate translations. You provide your own OpenAI API key in settings. AI translations are automatically marked as "AI generated" so your team can review them before approving.

Can multiple people work on the same project?

Yes! Create a workspace and invite team members as editors, admins, or viewers. Everyone works on the same data with role-based permissions.

What happens when my trial ends?

Your data stays safe. After the trial, your workspace goes read-only — you can still view everything, but you'll need to subscribe to edit, translate, or export. No data is ever deleted.

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely. Cancel your subscription at any time. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period, then your workspace goes to read-only mode.
